Educational Background:
Kiersten graduated from Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in 2018 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Business Administration and double minoring in International Business Relations and Anthropology. She went on to graduate from Sundance College in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in 2019 with an associate’s degree in Professional Legal Assisting. In 2020, Kiersten accepted a scholarship offer to attend the University of Idaho, College of Law, and graduated with her Juris Doctor degree in 2023.

Kiersten’s Biography

Kiersten is a Canadian, born in Cardston, Alberta, and raised in Calgary, Alberta. She moved to the Flathead Valley after graduating from the University of Idaho, College of Law, in 2023. Kiersten grew up visiting the Valley every summer with her family to camp and enjoy Glenn Lake and Flathead Lake, and every winter to ski and celebrate New Year’s.

Kiersten joined Johnson-Gilchrist Law Firm, P.C., in 2024. She is passionate about helping clients navigate their deeply personal family law and estate planning matters by offering compassionate and effective legal support.

Outside of work, Kiersten is active in sports, primarily playing basketball, volleyball, and pickleball. She also enjoys thrifting, upcycling, and tinkering in general, and has a deep love for music and animals. In Canada, she worked as part of an animal therapy team with her dog, Dane. Following his passing, she now works with her dog, Kairo, to pursue becoming a certified animal therapy team in Montana. Kiersten’s dream is to one day open her own dog rescue and sanctuary.
